Full brightness is not always the best brightness. On glossy varnish, pale nail overlays or circuit boards, too much light reflects off the lens, and during a beauty treatment softer light is more pleasant for the client. That is why these models can be adjusted.
Stepless or in steps
The Lambda S is adjusted steplessly, the Lambda M in three steps. The 824XPRO also has segment switching: you can turn off individual LED segments and let the light come from one side only – which reveals edges and textures that disappear under even, all-round light. The 851X and the 8213/8215 series can also be adjusted in brightness.
Where dimming pays off
- Cosmetics and lashes: soft during the treatment, bright for the final check
- Nail design: avoiding reflections on gel and varnish surfaces
- Electronics and watchmaking: less glare from bare solder joints
- In the evening: less contrast with the dark room, less tiring to work
All models use daylight-white LEDs and a lens made of real glass, with 3 or 5 dioptres depending on the series.
